Description
Here is the first of my 3 contest winners (in burn order) of my 200 watcher contest! This one was by the wonderful vaser888 . I actually found this guy before he found me, I think... He has some cool walking paper pony gifs. And I thought they were pretty freaking cool and creative. Then I come to find out he's pretty good with a pencil too. And this is the product we get. This was another fun one to do. Because if you know me, you can never have enough Luna. lolContest winner 1 of 3

I like the colours on this - perhaps it's the lighter wood?
They are really quite clear, more so than your other pieces I've seen .
Good job!

Thanks! And I the colors did seem to pop on this one more. It's just really hard to get a nice picture that represents the colors of the real life piece. I'm still working on getting that consistent.

Despite your new 1080p streaming camera hanging from the ceiling, I think the colours came out more vibrant than on the stream! Once again, fine job on this one!
Ohh and you know how you showed your 2 methods of colouring? The one that was solid and the one you could see the woodgrain? Well, I've recently thought of a combination of both worlds. Why not give watercolour paint a try? It goes on solidly, yet the grain should still visible.Β Its all up to your tastes!

Thanks! And the high powered camera does do wonders compared to the webcam. lol And I have actually tried watercolor paints before. It's definitely a nice thing, but something I really need to master first. lol I'm no painter.Β

to be totally honest my initial thought was why is she so pink?... then I remembered that my silly monitor sucks at displaying purple just because I guess it's not calibrated properly.
so I went on my phone and then I could see the purple properly.
I love it.
