I know that's kind of late, but anyway, it's September yet, right? : P

This is my tribute to the 20 years since the release of the album Nevermind, of the american rock band Nirvana, formed by the vocalist and guitarist Kurt Cobain, bassist Krist Novoselic and the drummer Dave Grohl.

The record ended up with the mainstream of the time, and has influenced the pop culture with his grunge rock, wich until then was denied by the media.

Nevermind had more than 30 million copies around the world.

The name "Nevermind" is a metaphor for Cobain's attitude towards life; spelled incorrectly, joining the two words in "never mind" (forget).

The fun of doing this illustration was to adapt the band members to my drawing style, which has some influence in manga. I wanted to do it using only visual memory, not based on any photos.

Esta aí minha pequena homenagem aos 20 anos desde o lançamento do álbum Nevermind, da extinta banda de rock Nirvana, formada pelo vocalista e guitarrista Kurt Cobain, o baixista Krist Novoselic e pelo bateirista Dave Grohl.

O disco revolucionou o mainstream da época, e influenciou toda a cultura pop com o rock grunge, que até então era renegado pela mídia.

Nevermind teve mais de 30 milhões de cópias vendidas no mundo inteiro.

O nome "Nevermind", é uma metáfora para a atitude de Kurt diante da vida; grafado de forma incorreta, juntando as duas palavras da expressão "never mind" (esqueça).

O divertido de se fazer essa ilustração foi adaptar os membros da banda ao meu estilo de desenho, que tem bastante influência de mangá. E quis fazê-lo usando apenas a memória visual, sendo que não é baseada em nenhuma foto.
