Description
Before I end my break and get back to working on the walls I’m going to share a shot of what I’ve been working on.I’ll probably post some more later (and move this to scraps) but they’re on the other camera.
I was thinking about painting broccoli but people assured me that’d be too weird so I decided to do a dragon, and also because I couldn’t choose between my characters (and I like dragons and always have, they’ve stood the test of time for me)
Well, here it is, quite unfinished. Yeah. It’s uh, bigger than it looks?
So much for simple lines right?
I went finger-paint crazy.

That's amazing. My mom's been open to the idea of my painting on my walls, I just can't decide what exactly to paint....besides, I've discovered that I'm horrible with paints. I'm much better with a pencil....

I thought I was horrible with paint too until I really started having to use them a lot, I just realized I have to acknowledge that the paint brush isn't a pencil and be willing to take account for uncontrollable water/liquid, oh and practice, practice lots.
Maybe you can do pastels or get some paint makers and just be sure to get some kind of protective gloss over them

It's probably because I've been thrown into multiple painting projects in my art classES without any experience. And my teacher has such strange requirements and limitations, it's ridiculous! He may have formal art training, but I can see more than JUST orange and blue in the skintones of a pale caucasian woman. Anyways, I just hate my art teacher, is what it comes down to, and I have to see him everyday(I have A and B days at my school). If I could do my own things on my own time, I'm sure I would love painting, but under HIS rule, it's hard to grasp.
....I'm so whiney.

Ah not really,
It’s not very much fun (or very reasonable) to get assignments (and the rules and limitations that come with assignments) but no or very little time to experiment or at least get an idea of how a media works.

Hahahah,
Sure!
Just nothing too high on the walls.
After this experience I never want to paint anything above me ever again.

Did it get in your eyes or something?
But my room is devoid of drawings or posters, kinda boring, I admit... but still

No, I'm just not use to painting anything above, so my arms were complaining.
Actually my room was pretty plain too.
