I know I haven't submitted anything recently but its basically because I've been working on this! I'm trying something new which is more extreme realism...but it's taking a while (this is still a work in progress-I still have to do the bg
) Any critiques? I'd love them!To those who'd like to know the story in this picture...I might talk more about it when I submit the finished piece. This might take a while though, because I can barely do anything now that I've been bombarded by school work!! Anyone else having this problem
(I miss summer...)And also, I've become completely obsessed with historical fashion (thanks to my sister and ~britishbonaparte ) And right now I love 18th century rococo
Edit: I changed the color/contrast slightly and took out the detail shots and ugly watermark

OMG so gorgeous <3333333 Your work makes me so happy but so jealousssssss XD There's so much detail and the pic looks so decadent and it embodies the very essence of Rococo fashion (decadence all the way!) I love the corals and mother-of-pearl tones you used and the details are something you could stare at and admire all day. It's clear you put a ton of research into your work!

I love sparrows and rococo! This is true inspiration for my dorm room! Apart from that, all the little items (playing cards, candlestick, die, sugar bowl) have such immense detail!

I'm in the middle of studying French Rococo style right now and I think you captured the style very well. I just love how all of the decorations of the tea cup and her dress so far look like so much delicate pastry *Rococo is so yummy*

I absolutely love this. The detail is amazing, especially the lace and how you included pores and freckles on her skin.
One issue though, are the couch cushions? The shadowing looks a little strange, mostly on the one in the middle of the couch (the circle) The darkest shadow shouldn't be all the way on the top. It makes it look a little out of place. Maybe moving it over to the left a bit, it would make it look more natural.
