(peach time voice) cowboy time

i had to rush the backgrounds on this one (im sure you can tell), but im happy with the new lining stuff i did. the speech bubbles look Like That because im drawing on a different device than usual and cant use a text tool

notes:
- jubilife is notoriously smoggy, but its such a great place for technology, trade, and so on, that very many people live in it.

- because it is an oreburghian territory (part of, essentially, a “state” run by oreburgh gym), it runs on fossil fuels. oreburgh and sunyshore have a contentious relationship because the latter’s clean energy development is affecting the former’s fossil fuels exports. oreburgh is considered the “weakest” of the League territories, and is desperate to maintain power and status.

- rue’s parents are friends of jules’s. she came to know the family well and is very close to them, though she and her parents moved from twinleaf years ago.
