Description
This sculpture is called Reef (view of the side), it was creating using Chavant NSP medium clay in 2016.
It was the first sculpture I made whist I was living in Japan. It’s based on an idea I sketched out many years before, when I had no access to being able to sculpt. This project taught me a lot about how to create different textures using Chavant clay. I was still very new to the medium at this point and l learnt a great deal through trial and error. It still remains one of my favourite pieces today.
