This is my first ever drawing with charcoal. It is of the rancid cover '...and out come the wolves', which isn't their best album, but it has the coolest cover. My guess is that the guy is Tim Armstrong (the singer from rancid).Related content

I forgot to ask you. Do you have any tips on how to do this? anything that might help me to do a good job on this.

i'm not sure if this is what you're looking for or what, but i used a charcoal pencil. btw, it smears, a lot! you want to make sure that the side of ur hand isn't covered in charcoal before you do all ur shanding, because it will smude. i'm no pro (hell, im only 13), but i do know that you want to start light when you start, so that its easier to erase if you make a mistake, and then gradually get darker as you go along. also, i would start it as just a pencil sketch, and once you have that, go over it and keep adding details with charcoal. if you don't have charcoal, or haven't used it before, i would suggest using just a nice inking pen. it's harder to color in all the darker solid stuff though, but it doesn't smudge. i hope this helps.

Thats really good. My boyfriend loves their band. I actually bought that exact cd for him. and I am making a poster of that cd. you did really good. I am very jealouse. i hope i can do it as good as u. fav!
