Sooo.
During the comic colors it occured to me I need practice with faces. Lots. So I made lots, and again I experienced how badly I need that practice *shudder*

Anyway, it's all the guys (and the girl) from Section 9 (go buy the Stand Alone Complex DVDs if you haven't). If you care, you might see some different approaches in the painting style of the heads, not only color-wise.
Note that the final composition is not too perfect, I'm aware that not all lights and hues match up. I'm okay with that here. It's not a refined artwork in that sense.
(Yes, you are correct: I'm trying to find reasonings so I can be lazy and feel totally content with it!)

Also note that I had some fun trying to make teh major look somewhat more realistic. Huh. Reminds me of some actress. I think there was a photo of some celebrity chick, the one from that a-little-like-Blade-vampire-movie-thingy?
Maybe that one's stuck in my head.

I think I did pretty well, so far without reference. I think I'm slowly getting the hang of it.
