P/S: This is my college assignment.I wonder what if Inkopolis rains, do Inklings hide under shelters or they can actually withstand acceptable amount of water?

If it's fresh water then it makes sense since squids can't live in it, but seawater.... (Saltspray Rig)?

Remember, the inklings are not aquatic life forms. They are almost entirely composed of ink, and ink dissolves in water. However, they MIGHT be able to withstand a little sprinkle.

Love the angle and I think they could withstand a bit of rain, but from how the deaths are when they fall into water, I'd bet it feel like acid to them

That's the only thing we know as there's no rain in Inkopolis so far
