It is a good aesthetic, sometimes I daydream of being in shoes like hers with a great dragon or other creature like that. Something about feeling protected and in power or control maybe?

I like your style including lit up small girls around highly dangerous creatures with good hearts. If you really want to try something new but similar maybe you should do a lit up dragon who is mean around a darkened girl curled up.
