Naming characters has never been easy for me :c Any suggestions?

Edit: It's either going to be some demonic name, or some human french name like Guillaume :I the decision has not yet been made,, but I really want a French mutated were-dog-demon crawling around parisian alleys, being all like "je vais casser ton cul, branleur" at random strangers

Nah, joke, ehrm, names are a tough thing. I sometimes spend hours scrolling name lists until something jumps into my eyes, that I like.
When french names are asked I always think of Grenouille first (means frog and is the protagonist of a german novel "Das Parfum" about a serial killer with an exceptional sense of smelling) even tho it probably doesn't fit that well.
Good luck with the naming.

Apparently it's a French version/transformation of the name William O: if I were to write it like I hear it it would look like: Gy-ome,, or you can enter it in french google translate and have a robo-lady pronounce it :'I (the u and double L's are silent, 'au' is pronounced 'o',, French wasn't my favourite subject >w>'')
And yeah we also read it for class c: Grenouille is a really....unique character, plus it was fascinating to learn about parfums as well

Hell, I really liked him as a character, it was so interesting to read. I never really gave much thought to smelling as a sense, everyone is always pretty hooked with seeing and eyes or other senses. The book made me think that we indeed are influenced more by smells than we may think.

Just seems like a Rast to me. Or Rosrot, even, which means 'rust' in some language (that I don't remember). Orr maybe it doesn't.
