Description
So, a parallax effect is probably most commonly seen when you're sat in a car, and see like, close things zoom by in a blur, while stuff further and further away move at a slower pace.
It's an effect that makes a background have depth when moving the camera horizontally. But in class we were shown a little clip with the effect inversed, further away -> faster, nearby -> slower. And it made for a weirdly eerie effect.

Wanted to test it out myself, so here we are :0

Image was drawn in photoshop, saved as 6-7 separate PNG files with transparent background, horizontally long strips, put into a video editor and keyframed the different planes to move at different amounts by the time the clip ends. Saved as video file, and put into a gif converter for uploading -> which is why the quality is so pixelated probs.
