Ariel work in progress. I started at 1:30 which in retrospect was a bad idea.

I wanted to test out the "just add water" trick with the smudge tool, so I decided to do a proper digital painting. I like to sit and hammer things out all at once. If I don't, I find I often get distracted by new ideas and start something else so things never get finished. Now that I'm putting this up, I have to finish it!

I know it's sloppy, it's only got 2 hours work put into it so far. Any critiques are welcome! Point out anything awkward or anatomically flawed, make suggestions, anything at all!

I put a few more hours into it, but I am tired now. I thought I'd share my progress. I completely re-did her torso. Put in a rough background. I don't hate it as much anymore, so things are coming along nicely!
