Took two tries to get this one right. First try ended in horror. The second time I was a little more organized. And I think it turned out quite well! Unfortunately the better looking side is the side without the cutie-mark, as was with Fluttershy. :IYou're next

But there's a bit of patience for doing restyles! Well sit yourself by a water source, cuz you'll need to be constantly re-wetting the hair. I used conditioner as well. But split the mane into however many curls you want (I had 4) and just wrap each section around a straw. That's where patience comes in. D: It tends to slide off if you don't get it tight enough. If I remember correctly, to get it around the straws, I held the very tips of the hair just a little to the side so I could still hold onto the hair while twisting up the straws. Then once you'r as close to the body as you can get, use pins to hold them in place. It works best if you can angle the pins to press against the body.
Then I just got a bowl of the hottest my tap water got and dipped her into it upside down a few times. Try not to get water into the holes. Last but not least let her dry for at least a day. That helps shape the hair. (I dried her upside-down to make sure there was no water inside.)

So I just unveiled my second attempt that I did slightly differently, and she looks really good. Slightly different than yours, but I feel like it's still a good restyle of Pinkie <3

There's no one way to do it. I've seen some pretty wicked restyles of all the ponies. If you get the fashion style ponies, you have even more to work with! Link me to some pictures if you ever upload any!

When gravity takes it's effect after a few days that front curl should look a lot better. (I just kind of ignored that with mine. :\)

Her hair looks a WHOLE lot better than what Hasbro has been doing. They just don't look at all like they do in the show. It's like they stuck some hair on top and just called it a day. At least your hair restyle actually looks like the actual cartoon rendition. For that, I thank you.

I really don't know! Before I got Fluttershy, I never thought I'd buy any of the rest because they don't even remotely look the part. But, it's kind of more fun to do it this way.
