Description

Paz quietly walked down the steps as lightning crackled off in the distance. The planet, whose name had been lost to time, was completely engulfed by a raging lightning storm that kept all but the most daring visitors away. Luckily for Paz, the Mandalorian she had hired as help was known to be daring as her record of contracts and bounties had shown.

As soon as Paz reached the bottom step, her feet touching what was now a bridge that spanned a vast chasm, she could feel the pure anger and power in the force that bled over everything area. It made her pause for a second until the Mandalorian stepped down next to her.

“Seems someone has been here before.” The Mandalorian said curtly, her voice somewhat distorted and amplified by her signature helmet with its T-shaped visor.

“The candles?” Paz said as she nodded at them. There were candles all along the sides of the steps and the bridge and had the same eerie green glow as the lightning in the sky did. “They're kept lit by the power here, the force.”

“ 'Meant the skeletons on the bridge.” Nodded the Mandalorian as she pointed with her off-hand. Paz noted that she never took her main hand off of the grip of her blaster. “There and there.”

Paz scanned for a second before she saw them, two skeletons in the middle of the bridge about a good pace away. From the distance, they looked like loose rocks as they were about the same color as the bridge itself.

She set off with the Mandalorian behind her, walking past the first skeleton to the second before she crouched down next to it. “Interesting....” Paz grumbled aloud as she saw a rusted lightsaber next to the pile of bones. She reached down to pick it up but stopped herself as she suddenly felt that they were being watched.

“We're being watched, someone's here.” The Mandalorian said flatly as she turned around to scan her surroundings. All that tech she wore was thankfully good for something.

Paz rested her hand on her lightsaber and scanned over the bones once more. She had come this far to find the artifact she wanted so she wasn't going to turn back now...

Another idea/image that I've had sitting around for a while now as I've needed to finish some things for it (Namely the mandalorians armor in the back, which I've been working on for a while) But this image also Introduces Paz, a "Grey" Sith (if their is such a thing) who's also a Chiss. I'll get more into her background and the reason for her look in a different image along with Enaji (the mandalorian)'s new look.

As much as I like star wars, I sometimes hate how campy and bland it can be so I wanted to go a more darker almost horror-ish route with this image kinda akin to the old Knights of the Old Republic and Bounty Hunter games were.

Also thanks to a friend of mine who did some minor touch ups to remove some color banding in the image that was ABSOLUTELY ANNOYING the hell out of me.
