Really nice! May I ask you, how and for what reason did you combine the two tools? From what I've seen and tried in ArtRage so far it looks quite un-ArtRagey, though I understand that any tool in master's hands will produce an excellent work (like this one ).

The sketch and initial rough brush work was done with ArtRage. Then on a second pass I added more detail in Painter. Third pass, I added some thick impasto accents with ArtRage. Lastly I did some color correction with Photo-Paint.
The reason I mixed ArtRage with Painter was specifically because I wanted the painting to look "un-Artragey".
Most paintings done with ArtRage have an instantly recognizable look to them. Primarily because of the way ArtRage renders oil brush strokes.
Although with some patience and experimentation you can achieve some grate "nonstandard" looks with ArtRage alone.
