Lupe, the leader of the Wolf Pack, stood by the marshes not far from Knothole Village. Her mind was full of thoughts as she gazed across the vast muddy swamp late at night.

She thought about her father and her life before Dr. Robotnik (Eggman) took over. She thought about how far she and the rest of the Freedom Fighters had come in their struggle against Robotnik. She thought about crossing through the swamp and going back to her pack's lair. But she remained still.

After some time standing there, she turned around and headed back to the village where the other Freedom Fighters were planning their next move of attack.
