Description
Awakenings are constant ... a continuous condition of existence. Whether they are seen or unseen is up to the seeker. Look into the eye of the infinite and a profile emerges. It is our own reflection awakening to the truth.Related content

Beautiful. I love the way the sun is reflecting off of the water and the way all of the colors blend so perfectly together. Very nice shot.

This piece is absolutely stunning. It has such a strong dramatic presence to it. The foreboding clouds and lighting is just fantastic as the light bounces off the water and sand.
Did you use any filters on the lens? I think this piece truly stands out in your gallery. This makes me want to attempt to get up early enough and drive to a beach in the hopes I could capture something so dramatic.

Do it! Get up and go to the beach at dawn ... even if you don't get the picture you want, you will feel things you can't feel anywhere else. No, I didn't use any filters. I usually hit the auto adjust in PSP to see what it does and sometimes play with the contrast and saturation a little. But I don't do much ... the original stands up quite well without any adjustments. I'm just fortunate to live near this beautiful beach. Thanks for your wonderful comments. ~RM~

I guess one of these day's. Considering I'm in the San Francisco bay area, I can't really say I'm not near any beaches

Sunsets are just as good. Lakes reflect as well as oceans too, actually better!

You framed this shot very well. The waves make a nice diagonal feel, going towards the sun. The shot has a good balance of stillness and motion. Very successful piece.

It looks like it's going to be a very cloudy day, but somehow, the sun manages to still shine through.
Very nice picture, I like the duality of it, with the bright color od the sun rise (or sunset?) and the dark grainy sky.

Sunrise. The clouds were actually moving in over the horizon ... squeezing the sun like an eyelid. Thanks for the comment. ~RM~
