This one is mostly watercolour and finishing touches with coloured pencil.

May I ask the size of this and was it done on paper or a canvas? Sorry I am just starting my journey into paint and am still collecting information on what works well.

No problem, glad to help out where I can
The size of the paper i use isΒ 11.7 x 16.5 (297 x 420mm) and I use the stretching technique Β which is pretty easy to do (check it out on youtube).
I found watercolour a pain in te butt at first but after a few tries you'll get the hang of it.
Personally I (still) like to do the details with coloured pencils as I'm more familiar with them.

Second, I LOVE your sky. I keep trying new and different was to do skies filled with stars to reflect the vastness of the universe as well as the color. The colors you used are great.
