Description What makes this cool is those rocks are mine, I made those in 3d Coat as this is my play day. This is textured by the amazing Rock and Roll Rocks set from Renderosity - the shaders, not the rocks. The water is an ocean set from DAZ 3D.

I busted my old basic Wacom artist tablet out to make the rocks just to try it out and get the settings right, and while some things are harder (shaving), the shapes feel more organic with a tablet doing the driving. I am getting those cool organic, semi-geometric angles rocks are famous for (haha), and the whole process is fast, cool, and easy.

I can also more truly express my artistic vision through this, since if I absolutely need a rock to look a certain way, I can get my virtual clay out and get my hands dirty. I can do this faster than it takes me to find a semi-okay rock in my collection. I get exactly what I want with all of the cool surprises you get from sculpting.

The mist and splash effects are painted on using Corel Painter 2020 with the Wacom. Oh hell yeah I don't need to figure out a way to do those in 3d. Thank you.

And this is killing Vue for me. Why do I need it when I can do this in DAZ Studio and have my figures and materials work without importing? I recently got a cloud product so that is taken care of as well. If Studio ever comes up with proceduralally generated clouds (like Bryce) it is game over for my Vue subscription. It may be game over now. This is beautiful and took 20 seconds to render. I mean...why?
