Description
Island building continues, this time with the hotel set I am using for the island's main residence. Coffeeboss and I worked on the chrome furniture for the pool and got that shiny but not mirror-like, and we were happy with the results. I then doubled the palm trees in the forest (but still kept my scene framerate with some clever tricks) to get that "world beyond" look outside the pool. I still want to put some more work into this set before I hand it off to coffeeboss for his input and review, but this is already looking like paradise to me.Related content

IT does have the feel of some resorts I"ve been to....
Not necessary, of course, but you might want to add a small open shower for the guests to rinse off the pool water before they go back inside, or off to a walk.... before they jump in...

I was thinking about one of those, maybe a free standing hot tub, and a bar. Maybe a covered up buffet table as the staff prepares to serve lunch.
I am taking inspiration from some of the places on Mission Bay in San Diego that I love. Right now I am adding those short palms the staff let grow over the walkways and you have to dodge them as you walk around the place. I may redo the stucco and wood on the building, just to make it mine. Renovations continue and thanks
