Thanks, one of the characters in my retro sci-fi series:

I was testing filters and retro-izing methods, there is a lot of study and technique on the films involved and the effects of old cameras, lenses, chemistry, and film. I want to improve my techniques in this area before I jump back into more retro images.

I really wish Daz would do an honest Iray B&W camera.

Yeah, it would take a bit of computing power I bet without being a canned effect. There are things like lens distortion, edge blur and darkening, the amount of light making it down the lens, and that whole "light physics" part. And then a million different films and how they react to light, exposure, and the chemistry part.
I am doing this by hand in layers, with each layer being a film effect or artifact based on the film technology of the times. I have to tweak each layer to look good, so I am not sure a canned (or even physics and light based) effect could do that.
But yeah, to have tech like that (and the control) in Studio would be cool.
