Oh God, I am so sick. Fever.
No, not my suit's alarm. My heart is fine. My pulse is high, but I don't have the symptoms. Thank God for my EMT training. Cardiac alarm is getting louder? The hell? In the room somewhere. My ears!
I remember passing out.
Outside.
My mouth tastes horrible, oh God, the smell. My head. It hurts. So sick.
I was good as dead.
Wait.
Where am I?

But I'm not done yet. There is this beautiful change in lighting. Shade is no longer sickly green, she is blue. Eli on the floor - her lights are going out. The alarm she never knew her suit had woke Shade up. She may not survive this, but wow.
The narrative switches to Shade, which is a fun surprise, and also a quite horrifying situation. You fall to the ground sick, outside, and you prepare to die. And then, you wake up, somewhere you never been before. Alive. And a really important alarm is ringing. You are so weak, and still quite sick, but you must act.
Very powerful stuff and I love this. If I could plot and create comic books, these would be my stories. Oh wait, I am creating comic books. Welcome to the future.
