Grrrr I just wanna run my fingers all over her body, don't you?I know what I'll be thinking about in the shower this evening.
This is a variant of the previous Rada image, but swapped a few textures. Kaleya's Esprit comes with this delicious satiny mostly sheer bronze/coffee/something colour preset which I was going to use in the earlier piece, but did not gel with the rest of the scene, so darkened this one up, moved her about, swapped some textures and gave her that pose that is starting to make me more than a little...err...large

Most of that softness, which is almost becoming my signature look, is done in post, though sometimes the right bloom and tone mapping settings in Iray helps. I have some go to plugins and presets that soften it up, especially in the shadows, and also add a bit more depth to the image that I can't usually get with regular contrasting tools.
I'll get the render looking pretty much how I want it, at least 98% with the shadow and highlights I want, many hours tweaking light sometimes, then it is a quick trip to Lightroom to see what may work on an image by image basis.
Maybe add some vignette (far more flexible in post, especially if you want it off centre or vary the shape or lump size) and some colour balance, however one plugin does a great Glamour Glow that you will see in most of my images, that gives it that look. Super light film grain, and the subtle contrast it can provide is also used a fair bit, not so much as you actually see the grain, but enough to give a bit more depth.

I cant afford LR atm, but because i have taken up Photography as well and am shooting raw files i have been using Darktable. Its pretty good for freeware so yah... but for my renders i havent used it. I use Befunky the online photo editor. It has a bunch of cool filters and tools.

DXO makes a nice app, and they now own all the plugins I use 99% of the time as well (though they have been having some financial issues this year, but still seem to be on track in their software branch). I keep my adobe sub up for PS and LR as those tools are invaluable to me after many many years as a photographer and digital painter and now in 3D, they are what I know and can use with my eyes shut.
Darktrable looks interesting though, I am going to download it and have a look, but I doubt I will be able to live without my Nik plugins in LR

I agree, but I am not a fan of most wet skin looks you can get in my software, they lack the realisim I would like.
But I can certainly picture the water running over her figure.
