Description
The M37 series is a lightly armored wheeled vehicle meant to rapidly deliver up to a platoon of infantry depending on the particular configuration.
The M37E primarily serves as a Fire Direction Center (FDC) for artillery, air attack forces and in some cases low orbital bombardment. It's crewed by a driver, a gunner, and a radioman as well as typically a complement of infantry to supply security. The M37E is relatively lightly armored though its twin 20mm cannons can be formidable. It also sports a turret on the top of the vehicle equipped with powerful twin 115mm plasma cannons which are meant for use against aircraft or other lightly armored vehicles. This doesn't mean that the crew won't unleash fiery death on any dismounted infantry within range.
