Nah, dude. Background (and foreground) falling snow is legit one of the more realistic ones of what I saw.
Go and drown yourself in the snow for some time (or drown someone else) and see how snow actually looks like on hair and stuff. Gladly finding snow at this season is a bit easier than during the others, so you're in luck there.
