Description

The Alfkak mythology event has a few different classes, one being the Archery competition.

Both historical characters and modern living characters are allowed to be entered, as the Afkak group accepts both time eras into its folders,

The characters depicted here lived in the Roman era, and if you chose your entry to be the same, it can be painted in any part of the Roman empire.

However if you are entering the canon side of the event, it is a historical recreation event taking place in Cyprus, in a stretch of land outside of Akrotiri and Limassol's salt lake.

The event is for both newbies and veteran Alfkak members, as you create the horses you paint in the event, with the goal of winning them (and other prizes including points and art/animations).
People who aren't accustomed to designing may chose to use predesigned Alfkaks.

When it comes to the Archery event, you chose and design your mount, then set about the course aiming to get as many points as you can. Earlier Roman archers didn't have extensive tack or armor, including stirrups. The saddle was mostly just a piece of cloth, so have fun with that! Celebrating the Alfkak's nature, bitless traditional style bridles are to be used in the event, as the myth of the Alfkak being too proud to accept the bit is still somewhat true today.

The archery course is olden feeling, with some targets themed with common myths like Medusa, the Minotor, hippocampi and other gods and monsters.

If you don't want the Alfkak you win by the end of the event and only entered for other prizes, you may sell it or gift it however you choose.
