Sometimes, I think people forget that I'm a fantasy artist at heart. Sometimes I forget that myself. So, this was a gift art for a cousin of mine for her birthday. Gave me an excuse to draw fish again. People are difficult to draw at this size on typical printer paper but it works out alright. Background is hand painted in Photoshop. Took around an hour all said and done.-RenDragonClaw

wow thats actually beautiful. its takes you away from the usual extreme hellish and phenomenally badass mood lol. the colors the are really great in this piece and i love your usage of blue here too. though i wonder what fantasy involves a woman riding a giant fish lol. anyway this came out really great and it was definitely out of the ordinary. awesome job dude

Pretty sick looking, though I worry about the chick riding the fish drowning ha ha. Hope your cousin doesn't think about that. Anyway, this looks awesome, I love how the fins splay out at the ends like those fancy goldfish.

Nice, solid composition. I like the simple, yet telling background. The edges of the big arch stick out a bit as too shoppy, but all in all, it's a very strong, very dynamic piece.

The Snake Fish episode was pretty awesome. Going to Thailand to hunt the things on their home turf. Things are so badass they shoved a guy's spear through his head after he shot one and it rammed him.

Oh lord the Snakehead episode, that was my favorite of the two seasons, namely becuase the Snakehead is my favorite freshwater fish, but also becuase the sheer badassery of damn things, not often a fish kills the fisherman with said fisherman's own weapon.
That show is one of the reasons my newest few Kaiju will be fish based, namely based on the Snakehead, Tiger and Sturgeoun fish, just to name em'.

The Piranha got an episode. They are pretty calm little guys until you introduce blood into the water. Then they go apeshit. That and stepping on their breeding grounds, not smart. What was pretty gnarly was they ate a whole bus of struggling people that crashed into the river. Talk about nightmare fuel.

Piranha one was boss and awesome, but the one that really gave me nigghtmares was the Candiru Asu, now that is a reason why people who swim in the amazon river are IDIOTS. That and it'd make one hell of a Kaiju minion, especially in swarms.

Indeed, those are some really nasty fucks, there bigger bbrothers the asu are even worse though.
Also, I have the lineart done for a pic I may or may not enter into our guild' contest. Hint: It involves the mother of acidic dragons stabbing a fiesty strawberry

I have a hard time mixing 'acidic' and 'dragon' together without thinking of D&D black dragons but the strawberry gives me ideas lol.

the word dragon can have many other variations besides the furry adored varitations. For examples dragons in the dearly ark ages were simply giant serpents, then you have christian demons which were described as dragons, and lets not get into other works of fantasy, that and it isn't much of stretch to say the xenomorph's the 'Dragon' of it's universe
that and the phrase "Dragons of Acheron" (Acheron being Lv-426) is just plain catchy. 
Besides this confusing riddle, the colors are done, and all I have do to is the acompanying fic and i'm done and ready to post
