Description
Spacegodzilla: Having defeated the one creature that could have annihilated him, Spacegodzilla imprisons the maimed body of Bagan in a prison of crystal. Now satisfied with his work, Spacegodzilla returns to his crystal fortress in the heart of New York City to plan his next move. Unfortunately, his lust for power has alienated even the other mutants and they strive to bring down the tyrant; smashing through the crystal spires in fury. Even the Earth Defenders have joined the effort, a scarred Godzilla 2000 calling for vengeance. Facing the wrath of practically the entire planet, Spacegodzilla’s egotistical pride finally shatters and all he can do is watch in horror as a legion of angry kaiju break into his inner sanctum…unbridled rage rolling off them in waves. Perhaps bringing back the power surges, and thus the possibility of critical mass, wasn’t such a good idea…Destoroyah: Destoroyah existed for one thing and one thing only…the extinction of all oxygen based life forms. Anything less than total destruction was unacceptable. With Bagan mutilated beyond recognition, Destoroyah devoured what was left of the creature’s energy and continued its mission of eradicating all life on the planet. Cities became mass graves and the remaining kaiju were quickly turned into raw material to feed the ever evolving destroyer. Dr. Shirazawa’s greatest fear had been realized. His creation had given birth to a demon and the world burned in its wake.
Megaguirus: In a world filled with sluggish brutes and armored behemoths, the queen of the meganula found that even millions of years after her kind had supposedly gone extinct, speed and agility reigned supreme. Bagan had been a larger than life and powerful foe…but like all of the ones before him…he only fell harder for it. His energy was VERY tasty, raw and succulent. With all this energy at her disposal, she felt it was finally time to create a nest… Days later, her children blotted out the sun and she cried with joy as they fell upon the weaker life forms of this world. The planet belonged to the meganula and Megaguirus ruled as its undisputed queen.
Titanosaurus: Snapping Bagan’s neck with a final toss, Titanosaurus stood over his broken foe and warbled his victory cry. He was the most powerful kaiju in the world and with that distinction, his ancient life style would continue uninhibited. The oceans were his now and nothing dared enter it without fear of facing his wrath. With trade by sea all but impossible, humanity plummeted into a depression and simply could no longer afford the massive weapons of war that had plagued monster kind. The remaining monsters gave the red colossus wide berth and they never dared to set foot in Australian waters as Titanosaurus claimed the entire continent and surrounding waters as his personal lair. As for the Vortakk…a freak hurricane had mysteriously claimed them when they tried to escape the planet. No one dared venture to the ocean’s bottom to check the wreckage.
Biollante: Devouring the crushed and punctured corpse of her adversary Bagan whole, Biollante was free to do as she wished. With the cities ruined and the aliens humbled, no civilization would halt Biollante’s journey toward the cradle of the world. Setting her roots deep into the soil of Africa’s Savannah, Biollante fired a stream of spores into the sky and the winds carried them to every corner of the world…within a matter of weeks, the spores had turned into massive tangles of plant life that had turned the world into a massive green house. With the world covered in vegetation and flowers, Biollante was no longer alone in the world. The planet had become a massive garden…Biollante its center rose.
Krystalak: Impaling Bagan with enough crystals to make a diamond mine envious, Krystalak had defeated the greatest threat to his supremacy…but there was still one last loose end to tie up. Honing in on the crystal resonance of his creator, Krystalak tracked the wounded but still living Spacegodzilla to the ruins of what was once New York. This mostly flesh bound creature could never hope to harness the purity of their element and it was with sadistic glee that Krystalak fell upon the cerulean titan and tore his crown straight from his skull. Holding the bleeding mass of golden crystal aloft like a trophy, Krystalak brought it to his core and absorbed it. Thrumming with power and a more stable core to control it, Krystalak set out to cover the planet in glowing spires. How quick the slave becomes the master and the master becomes one of the dead.
Obsidius: Obsidius was never a creature that put much thought into anything he did. So killing Bagan took about as much processing as a toaster burning a slice of bread. Tossing Bagan’s broken and charred body away from him, Obsidius was now without a real motive to exist. It would seem that Spacegodzilla had other ideas as he descended down from the heavens. The crystalline menace tried to reach into the elemental’s mind; attempting to gain control over his wayward spawn for his own purposes. Obsidius however, was not the same entity that had spawned from the crystal surge laden magma years before. He had evolved and with that evolution a came a sense of independence. Freedom was a necessity to most living things and Spacegodzilla’s attempted subjugation was met with a blistering roar of rage. Leaping upon his negligent creator, Obsidius’s molten fists pounded the cerulean space demon to a bubbling pulp; leaving Spacegodzilla a shattered smear at the elemental’s feet. Obsidius made to leave but stopped as he felt an unusual sensation pulling at him. Reaching into the ruptured chest of his dead ‘father’, Obsidius retrieved his heart; the mass still beating in his rocky clutches. Feeling an instinctual need, Obsidius devoured the partially crystallized organ and suddenly the world began to make sense. Having stabilized himself, Obsidius now felt complete. Returning to Seattle, Obsidius struck the earth and the city once again erupted into flames as lava flowed freely once more. He had struck at tad too hard however and the entire ring of fire erupted; sending every civilization straight into a molten hell. From Obsidius’s point of view, the world was in desperate need of a change in scenery…a couple volcanoes should do the trick.
