This will probably be the last KCELL related thing I submit for a while. Shinji really needed some more material dealing with him and so I worked out his hybrid KCELL form. Was going to have more dudes in the pic but petered out ambition wise and decided to envoke a little creepier setting by isolating the thug. Tried that multi layer painting method I see all the time. Thankfully the gritty setting compliments my gritty skills.For those wondering, his left hand is siphoning life force and the right forearm is preparing to sever it.

This is one professor you don't wanna get bad grades around!. In all seriousness I quite like this design...gives me kind of a Count Orlok feel oddly enough which helps the errire atmosphere.

Went lurking through your stuff and I noticed two things. The first is that Shinji is a BAMF and I've never commented on his picture before. And the second is a bit stranger...in this form he looks kinda like a Sleestack(sp?) from the 'Land of the Lost' series/movie.

Took five seperate attempts but I finally got it come together into something I could tolerate. The face of his hybrid form is my favorite part.

During the first kaiju battle of the millenium between Shimaku and Goreagh, there is mass civil unrest everywhere due to Goreagh's KCELL inflicting his Kaiju's will (under the further influence of a ogre hag by the name of Nikitsu). Shinji ends up learning to use his abilities just to keep his head intact during the chaos as he tries to get to the bottom of things.
At the point of this picture, Shinj's paitence has effectively run out.
