I do like fantasy a lot! Spitpaint is a Facebook art group where you have to draw the day's theme within 30 minutes! It's in the description.

This art style would REALLY work for a VN I'm working on... Β You wouldn't happen to like fantasy would you?

That was a neat movie.
Shame about the prop mixup.

'The Crow' was an adaptation of a comic book series, starring Brandon Lee, son of Bruce.
A mixup with props resulted in Brandon actually getting shot. He died from the wound before the movie was released.
The take with the genuine bulletwound was used in the movie.

I actually really like the sketchy, rough, quickly-painted look of it. I've never heard of "SpitPaint" before (quite frankly, it sounds made up ) but I may just check it out.

It's not made up, it has 24,000 members, including a shit load of awesome artists!
Rules are simple; 30 minutes, no photo textures (texture brushes and photo references ok) to paint one of the topics posted daily. And thanks!

That's even cooler than I thought. I was thinking it was some kind of new painting software, and I thought it seemed weird because "SpitPaint" seems like a horrible marketing name.
So I guess it's like speed painting except it has a very specific timeframe and rules? ..and a facebook community page. Β
Definitely some awesome work featured on it though, I could totally benefit from this.

This is just really beautiful! I really like the contrast between the black feathers, the red eye and the colder background! And I also like the snow effect! I know that it's probably easy to do (or at least you are pretty comfortable with how to do it!), but I just like effects like that!
I think it's really beautiful, and it's done in just 35 minutes! (Even if everyone can improve further and further!)Β
