Hello, it's me again. Umm.. I have some problems with contributing my entry to Autodesk Sketchbook's gallery. I uploaded it on 17th, around 3pm or 4pm PST time. My piece is still awaiting approval, and I tried contributing one more time, couple hours ago. Did I mess something up? I uhh... Was I too late? Or is something wrong? There's no wrap-up yet, but...

I'd like to know the exact deadline for this. It says the 18th, but what time? Usually contests got til midnight of that day, but I wanna make sure because I was thinking of doing another one.
Also, can I do a portrait format piece, or does it have to be landscape? Or maybe either or as long as the canvas is the downloaded one...?

oooh and, and, is the canvas necessary? I'm new at Autodesk Sketchbook (but i use it sometimes) and i dont know how to download or use the canvas, and all. Can i just draw without downloading the canvas? If not, can anybody tell me what should i do with the canvas? Or anything? I really confused about all that canvas thingy π’

You're meant to draw on the canvas (like this) but you don't have to. It just makes it look cool, and then I know for sure it's an entry!

You can use more than one- the idea is to make emotion somehow represented through color!

You can use whatever colors you want. The point is to portray color as emotion. You don't have to use any specific color, although a list of colors that go with emotions like in the link below is handy.
