This is an awesome take on a humanoid GLaDOS!! I love her man-killing dress! The orange stripes & cables work really well in her design! Beautiful shading & detailing too! β₯β₯

AAAAAAHHHHH!!! Thank youuuu! I tried to make her bad ass and regal (as she is basically the center and queen of the facility). I tried to bring all aspects of her design into this design of her!!

Ooo, really like how this turned out! is the black part of the dress supposed to mimic the wires of her machine form? Another question: you said she isn't winking - were you trying to do it so that she has one eye like her machine form? If so try hiding her other eye with her hair next time. Other than that I like how the white part of her dress looks like the worn out metal from her other form. Great job on this illustration!

I'm not skilled enough at writing to do an adequate critique, but I do like the class and commanding presence you gave her, it seems very fitting. I also like the shading and detail work, especially on the "plate" parts of the dress.

Let's see:
1. Concept. The Internet is sworming with human versions of Glados. And most of the time they share a large number of features, such as the metallic skin, white hair, (usually tight-fitting) dark outfit accesorised by wires. Now, this is a fresh approach. It still borrows the generic traits, but you did not overdo it. Wearing such a glamorous dress would fit GLaDOS in my opinion. Extra points for the addition of colored wires. They add a nice spot of colour.
2. Style. I looked around your gallery and I dare say this is among your best pieces. Nice effects on the white plates of her dress. They have that worn out effect Β present in Portal 2. Not to mention the folds. Hats off to them.Β
Criticism: The darker gray lines of the hair. Maybe a bit too dark overall. If you would have made certain lines less proeminent would have been better. It looks good even like tis, but there it the tendency of the viewer to follow the lines, especially on side bangs (? the large bits of hair left ut of the bun) and there things get confusing as lines are concerned. Not that important , but I will mention that the thin ends of the bangs are a tad bit too long. Her left one makes a funny angle, as it would be a line added afterwars.
The shading is, for most of it, quite unitary and natural. But the white plates are a bit lacking in this. Maybe do the worning effect a bit more dark? Also the right leg. The foot is behind the left one, yet they have the same shade of grey (according to my monitors at least). The folds of the dress should have cast a stronger shadow there.
3. Overall. Very enjoyable fanart. We have a sophisticate GLaDOS looking down at us. You kept her very in the character while bringing out her less exploited traits.Β
Additionally, you could add a background sometime in the future if you decide to ever come back to this piece. Maybe in a redraw in a few years? It would be interesting to see her in an Aperture environment.

I believe this is my best piece too, I'm proud that I've made it here. And yeah when I was lining it I noticed that the head line art was kind of more, um... lineart based, so a lot of the lines are my lineart. But I thought they looked good, but I should have stuck with the same style throughout haha. And I didn't notice how much extra lines I had at the end, so thanks for pointing that out! Ugh and thanks for the shading, I usually am not the best at shading but I thought this turned out very well! it was also only black and white shading so that made it easier Ah, but thank you, you're right!
And again i wonder how many times ive said this so far.... thank you! And yeah, I wanted to publish it asap because I wanted it for my 2015 yearly art summary thing, but I wanted to work on a background. Just like a really simple thing, I'm working on it now, I'm just going to updateΒ this one.
