I like it a lot.. reminds me of one monster from Final Fantasy IX.
The actual modeling of this is the strong point, but I feel the texturing kinda leaves a lot to be desired.
It does a good job compositionally and I like its composition too.. so overall great job!

very cool, i think if you added some "foot prints" in the sand it would give it a lot more life, also some texturing on the sand as Van-Schneider mentioned.

Reminds me of an episode of Courage the cowardly Dog, 'The Tower of Doctor Zoloft', quite a beautiful episode actually, the best even.

this is pretty awesome it makes me think of howls moving castle.
the only problem i see with it is that the weight from this massive contraption seems to leave no mark on the sand instead of sinking in or moving it
