I was checking my millions of unlabeled cds, searching for some notes I needed, when I found one cd with old drawings I did in 2003 and 2004.I redrew one, to see what happens.
Man, it's been a long way D:
This looks more like 2003, but the file said 2004 and I uploaded it on animexx in 2004, too : /
That's Xellas from Slayers, btw. I know there are various other versions of her, but I always liked the bling bling one the best.

Wow, the amount you've improved in such a short amount of time is almost unbelievable... I guess some people are just innately born with the ability to produce quality art and improve far beyond the abilities of others.
You're clearly a very accomplished artist and I can only see you improving more as time goes on.

Wow, that was one drastic style change! The former is more 'traditional' anime/manga style (If you can say that with so many styles out there) while the second... It's got a lot more realism and depth. I adore the smoky, translucent style, almost like a gouache painting. Is preeeetty.
Also, Zelas! She's just so sensuous and slightly arrogant, exactly spot on character wise (Even though you never really /see/ her character...

4 Years is a long time I guess. I can't say I've had the same improvement in my art.. but I totally have in my writing. I guess what they say is true. Practice makes perfect.
