I was checking my millions of unlabeled cds, searching for some notes I needed, when I found one cd with old drawings I did in 2003 and 2004.I redrew one, to see what happens.
Man, it's been a long way D:
This looks more like 2003, but the file said 2004 and I uploaded it on animexx in 2004, too : /
That's Xellas from Slayers, btw. I know there are various other versions of her, but I always liked the bling bling one the best.

very nice. the newer one looks better lol but it's cool how you took an old drawing and tested your new skills out. 2003 eh? not that long ago, but it is cool to look back at old stuff. I do that sometimes with my old drawings too. except mine don't look as great as yours lol

I love it when artists re-visit old work. I do it myself sometimes too and the amount of improvement is always amazing. I can't believe you've gotten so much better since then... wow. Truly amazing.

AHA! I figured out the words on the side there! In greek letters, it spells out "Greater Beast" (well in Greek of course but the first letter of each spells that).

Whoa! This is so cool. I actually went through my old sketchbooks not too long ago, and I was amazed at how different my style was. I was so into anime, but now I'm trying to move out of all of that and go for a more cartoony look, if not realistic. Job well done here

Okay, this picture totally made my day. I've been feeling down lately about how ugly my drawings are, and how amazing the deviants I watch are. And your sketchblog didn't exactly help with my self confidence. XD But seeing this, I feel there's hope that I might improve still. XDD
