i tried to make a step by step process of one of my drawing.. even though this doesnt really show anything or that impressive of a processits really fun to do something like this and ref sheet kind of drawing.. probably i just need a vacation
ANyway,.. if i could simplify my drawing process i'll divide it into 3 part like this.//
Start from skctehing the lineart like everyone do, except i took probs 20 layers just for the sketches and lineart alone and its the most painful part of the whole process in my case because i dont do skeleton figure first or the likes
Second is base color and shading, also scribbling everywhere for general idea,.. nothing much happens here
The last, the third one is the most fun part, its where the magic happens ... usually im just playing with photoshop filters and brushes, so much possibilities.. and dont forget to put text on everything

hmmm i cant really explain of how i pick colors for most of my drawings, including this
most of the time i put any base color and put darker desaturated color of the base for the shadow,
but in this case, i went for way more saturated base color, and put an opposite complimentary(?) color as the shadow (e.g for the clothing is pink base so i put desaturated blue as the shadow). as for more darker part i put a way desaturated color but only increase the darkness a tiny tiny bit. I think this way i can create a more fun kind of drawings ehe
Honestly, photoshop filter helps me so much in this, from there i can go with a color style that fit the best for the drawing :'D

I like how you got rid of most lines on the third one with that shadow/bouncing light effect (I feel like its in between). Overall, the pose and the dynamics of the design its pretty awesome.
Only thing I disagree is the wink, you should've had keep it xD

usually that kind of effects is just a spur of a moments... sooo, yeah "the third one is where tha magic happens".. since i dont know whats good thing might comes up as the final result *v*b
i actualy tried to keep the wink since its cute and more happt =v=.. but its super hard to adjust it on this one so i replace it with another eye *_*
