Description
We were assigned to design a shirt logo for a concert (band of our choice). I wanted to design it for an artist no one else would use, so that my design was being judged on its form not how it compared to the other logo done for the same artist. So I decided to go with Fiona Apple and her "extraordinary machine" cover. If you've ever heard the song you'd understand what a mechanical heart had to do with it - if you haven't...well, then I guess you don't. Anyway, I'm not entirely sure yet if this was a success yet. As far as a coloring job goes, yes, it was; but as a t-shirt design....I don't know if it would work.Guess I'll find out on Thursday.

It's a good concept, and seems to fit the song. The colors are nice and muted, very well executed.
I think this would be good for a t-shirt so long as you made the t-shirt white, and grungey. Maybe add a little saying on the back, maybe something as simple as, "extraordinary machine" in small black print; maybe newpaper letter print.
Sorry if that's confusing. XD But it is a nice design. It really stands out. ♥♥

Very unique. I think it's a bit busy for printing on a t-shirt. Nicely done though!
