I'm sorry his outfit is so fugly He has no sense of style and just wears what is practical and what he collects, so I just...attacked his design

Name: Maten

Pokemon: Cofagrigus

Nature: Serious

Characteristic: Takes plenty of siestas

Age: presumably in his twenties based on looks

Village: Scorched Mountain

Job: Worker (actually he doesn't really do much of anything unless he's possessing Yae)

Ability: Mummy - If you are touched by an opponent, you make their ability Mummy.

Attacks:
Shadow Ball – The user hurls a shadowy blob at the target. It may also lower the target’s Sp. Def stat.
Will-o-wisp – The user shoots a sinister, bluish-white flame at the target to inflict a burn.

Likes: books, intellectual debate, people who aren’t what he considers idiots, weapons, exploring, Shogi, Go, sailing, fighting, taking risks, gold, messing with people

Dislikes: stupidity, slowness, talking about his past, pushiness, drama queens, people who are too dull or boring, people who are too dependent or clingy

Personality:
It takes a very specific type of personality and an infinite amount of patience to even tolerate Maten. He is a constant source of insults and condescension. He is also completely unafraid of stating his honest opinion or doing what entertains him. Despite his harsh words and seemingly aggravated mood that never ends, not much truly bothers him. He is generally very relaxed although he will not act as much. He likes to provoke reactions out of amusement and to just learn more about people who intrigue him. He is extremely intelligent, perhaps too much for his own good, as it is what leads him to be overly confident and egotistical.

History:
"If ya don't leave, I'm goin' ta eat ya."

Glaring red eyes met wide blue ones that simply blinked innocently back.

"But you don't eat people, you're a cofagrigus. You eat gold." Having said this she opened up her small palm and revealed a golden bracelet. It twinkled but for a moment before it vanished down the throat of the monster. It was now that the red eyes took their time to examine the girl. They stopped on the black markings that marred the hand that had held the bracelet.

"...Ya've been cursed," he stated.

A mixture of surprise and defensiveness flickered across her round face before she drew her hand behind her back, out of sight. Her gaze turned away from his.

"What was it?" he asked.

"...A spiritomb," she murmured, almost guiltily.

"How long?"

"A few moments ago. I ran away and then stumbled upon you..." She glanced away, soft fox-like ears flat against her head. "I won't make it back to the village in time..."

"And so ya decided ta sit an' chat with me in yer last moments, eh?" He scoffed and rolled his eyes.

"I was hoping...you'd be able to tell the villagers where I am...when I collapse," she said in a soft voice.

"So after gettin' attacked and cursed by one ghost ya go out to seek the help of another? It would be a waste of time ta explain ta ya the stupidity of yer actions if ya kin even comprehend them."

"...I didn't have much choice... Not all ghosts are like that one..." The look on her face said she already knew it was foolish.

He would be starving if it were not for her...if that was her plan, then it worked. "...I'm rooted ta this spot without nourishment. I'll need to borrow yer legs."

She stared at him, carefully, with scrutiny. Her life would be in his hands, and if he led her astray...

"Is there gold in yer village?" he asked, sensing her doubt.

With a questioning look in her eyes, she nodded.

"Then my survival will depend on the both of us gettin' there as well," he explained. "I need legs and nourishment--ya need a fast way back to the village. Do we have a deal?"

A lavender tail twitched. Her ears raised and then lowered. "......All right."

She reached out to him with a pale hand. Gold and teal plating retracted, revealing a black arm. His hand clasped hers...and then melded into black tattoos that traveled up her arms like bandages. He would possess her body for as long as she allowed and take the time to recover. It would be slow, but at least with her help it would be sped along a little. In exchange, he would protect her from the maladies that befell her...well, perhaps some of the more serious ones. She had to learn her lesson at some point and he had a feeling that it would be a difficult one for her to learn. It was a challenge he welcomed to occupy his boredom and bide his time...until he could begin his own agenda.

Additional Info:
-His height is 6'2".
-The connection between Maten and Noria is unclear, but whether it is out of disdain or something else, he avoids her like a plague.
-He carries around a shard of a certain mirror that helps him maintain his visible form without putting much energy into it.
-Yes, he has extra ghosty arms.
-Direct contact with his arms or his skin will cause his ability to activate, which is why he's almost completely covered in clothing and armor.
-His armor can shift when he goes between coffin-mode and ghosty-mode.
-It takes a VERY long time for him to recover his health, but at the same time it is extremely difficult to wound him (Cofagrigus' base defense is pretty darn high).
