The news about Heylguard had come as a suprise to the young female. Never in her time in Heyl had she learned about a merge between packs, it was unspoken of.

She knew these changes would not only effect those within the pack, but those on the outside as well. She could only imagine how the other packs in the domain must feel, to see two young, small packs suddenly grow in size and become one of the biggest packs around. Yet, there was something the she-wolf recognized; Heylguard may be one of the largest packs in the domain, but they certainly wern't the stongest or united.

The previous packs, Dawnguard and Heyl, were each still very young. Loyalties and ways of life had just begun to settle, and now they were scattered once again, and they were unsure of this change. Saphira knew there was conflict between the groups, as many were unhappy with the alliance. Even though they may live in the same territory, it seemed as thoughmthere was still a line that kept Heylites and Dawnguardians apart.

But Saphira found herself believing in the good that is to come out of this change, however difficult it may be to adjust. She believed that eventually everything will fall into place. That Heylguard will not only find true loyalties among each other, but also love within their hearts.

But only time will tell.
