I really need some suggestions and ideas on how to improve this work. I am REALLY new at lighting, and transforming a render in a maginificent masterpiece. Please comment and tell me how I can improve this.

Some more brushwork and 2D would do. But I must say, this looks very promising. I'm lookin forward for the final image.

Yeah. i hope I can actually go somewhere with this. I'm just having a hard time getting the lighting correct. First time I have actually done a substantial amount of work on the "blasting light" effect.
