Again and again in my head
Why?
Why are things like this?
Why do I love you?
One question
That has no answer
But leads to another
Is it worth it?
Will loving you be what I need?
What I want?
What I hope for?
But it all comes back again
To that one question
Why do I feel this way?
I don't wish
That I didn't love you
Or couldn't
Or wouldn't
I just wish
That loving you
Could be easier
That so many conditions
Didn't have to be met
That so many things
Didn't have to be done
I just wish
That loving you
Was something I could do now
That loving you
Wouldn't have to wait so long
That loving you
Didn't involve hoping
That I will be yours
And that you would wait
Whether by choice or chance
But I realize
That it all comes from
One question
And all ends up
As one wish

There is some very nice depth to this poem, and I really like how linear and flowing it is, along with how you can picture yourself right in front of the speaker. Nice job.
