Β "Alien" was one of a group of individually painted flapcats that we sold on Ebay. This was called the "Stray Cat" edition. They all had names.Β She is a hand painted, gypsum reproduction of my original sculpture, produced by Windstone Editions

We buy clear glass eyes and finish them with fired-on glass paint.

Oh thank you. I found that if you stick to light colors with an airbrush, it looks really soft. Get too dark and it looks like you took a can of spray paint to them.

We buy the blank glass eyes,but we paint them ourselves.

Β We buy ours by the thousands from a foreign distributor, I don't know where you can get them in small amounts . anymore.Van dykes taxidermy used to sell unpainted eyes, but they don't seem to have themΒ listed on their website anymore.
