Description
This is a palm sized "stone finish" sculpture of a momma cat cradling her kitten. I was inspired by the way Japanese gardens use rake marks around stones to imply movement. The mother cat's body is textured with lines that represent tabby stripes and swirl around the kitten. They are about 4 inches across.This pair is airbrushed in silver tabby markings with acrylic paint.
This is a reproduction of my original sculpture cast in gypsum.
