Description I was digging through files on my old computer and found this old rabbit drawing. This was done on "scratch board" in the pre-digital age.. The "Unicorn with rabbit " print I did in the 80's has a very similar rabbit in it. ( This link is a detail of that print: [link] )
I was reading "Watership Down " at the time, so I was obsessed with rabbits...
His tail is a little too big..

BTW-have you ever noticed the reverse- that deer warning road signs have the tails waaay too small? When I was going to school in upstate New York we used to joke about taking black paint and correcting them to proper proportions.

Oh, you are right! Like four times too small.
But the art on those signs was always very representational.I am being kind.

Wow... This is absolutely wonderful. I love the detail in the face, and I really think you properly captured a rabbit's facial features. Love that big dewy eye. Great movement in the body too. I would love to have a tattoo similar to this someday as I really love rabbits. (I would never use your work (or anyone's) without permission though, just saying that because I think it's quite an awesome piece.)
