Aha!! I did *Chortle* at this when you first posted it. Yeah, those fumes are why I shifted marker brands and use Sharpies v-e-r-y sparingly.

... Makes me think of a doodle I drew of a lady thing asking her male friend "Does this dress make me look flat" (instead of "fat") and there was a bunch of other silly drawings and funny-if-you're-tired stuff on it.
This is brilliant reasoning, I think! Makes perfect sense in a way...

Good grief. It's like you're in my head. I have so had conversations like this some days. Usually when I've had too much coffee and not enough sleep.

Thankyou so much! And I will. The shop down the road has a sale on Sharpies at the moment...

It might be a silly comic, but I love it. It has that quality of being simple to draw yet still fascinating, like newspaper comics. I could totally go for a whole series of these two .

"Something that doesn't exist can't be GONE!"
[...]
"Oh. It never left?"
o.O Threw my mind into a loop with those phrases
Really cute and funny, even though it certainly brings up some interesting thoughts on existence... or non-existence.

Warning: frequent use of alcohol-based markers will cause hallucinations

Oh, is that what Headaches are?! Something you have that doesn't exist, never existed, and can't be gone?
Hee Hee! Sharpie Fumes also can give you headaches.... Random thoughts of mine regarding your drawing.

yeah, that was the point! I was getting a headache from using a sharpie to draw these things!

Yeck! Remember the old fashioned 'Permanent' big-tipped markers? They were far worse - the marker smell would fill up the room! You needed to have plenty of ventilation to use those in the old days... you could get a cheap high just doing a storyboard or concepts with those markers!

Yeah, Sharpies used to be smellier in the old days too, now they really aren't that bad.
They used to have a warning on the side, something like "use in well ventilated area" "NOT FOR LETTER WRITING"

Hah, that's the same problem first matematicians had! They had no 0 (zero), because how would you write down something that doesn't exist? They left a free space instead of the symbol. As now we know, zero - means nothing, no action, not a thing, but it is something - the lack of those. Nothing truly is something that describes nothing!

I feel like this is the kind of brain-bending thing that's going to haunt me in the shower and as I lay in bed at night. xD
I really like how expressive they are! ...Though I've no clue what they are.

Profound truth aside, I love the way you've given such simple figures such distinct body language. Part of me wants to see this animated.

Yeah they'd be almost as easy to animate as stick figures!.. except for the sharpie fumes
