Description I got this gorgeous little guy recently from a friend of mine. This is the first BP have bought/owned since got out of breeding them several years ago and sold all the breeders and stuff that had. The banana gene is a gene that wanted badly when bred, but at the time they were thousands of dollars. They have since become much more affordable and knew wanted to finally get one. I was planning to just get a normal banana, but my friend had this and offered it to me and couldn't pass it up. I worked heavy with spider gene when bred and love it. I remember drooling over one of these at a show years ago, but at time was like $3-4k.  There will be more pics of him to come.  Happy to finally have one of my dream morphs. I really wish had this guy back when breeding lol.

Thanks! . Yes, they have been on my want/dream list since them and the Coral glows showed up. Though, they were soooo expensive for a long time. The prices dropped right around time I got out of breeding BPs, but even then a normal banana was still around $1k.  I would of LOVED to had this guy to breed to some of nice females I had years ago.  I still want to get a normal banana and think may just make my own.

Thanks, I agree!. I still would like to get a regular banana and thinking may just make my own, as ended up with another BP that wasn't planning to get at first and she is not far from breeding size

What kind is she?  In my opinion anything that has banana in it is a beautiful snake.
I have a male banana cinnamon, so I may be biased on that.  Dreaming of one day making a banana pied and then I will my two favorite morph types in one.

The female also got from my friend is just a normal, but she is around 900 grams, so not far from being ready to breed. I gotta get a good picture of her and will post it up soon.  I will likely breed them later this year, assuming they both ready, which should be. This guy ate in less than 24hrs after getting him lol. The only thing would keep from that clutch is a banana and sell the rest. I would really like to get one nice 2-3 gene female to breed to him in the future.  Banana cinnies are sweet, I really like them also.  I just gotta keep it small unlike before, as really don't want to get into it larger scale again.

I look for ward to seeing pic's of her.  They can become so addictive can they.  I can't wait until mine are up to breeding weight.

Yes, definitely addictive, but then again, so many reptiles are in my experience lol. I started out keeping a few norm BPs as pets growing up and then got my first morph from a friend that was breeding. After that, it took off from their and before knew had 100+ animals and that number went up when had snakes hatching out. I really plan to keep it small scale this time. 1-2 clutches is good and won't be a lot have to worry about selling.  It just gets too much and too expensive when have larger numbers.  I was vending shows back then and every show was spending a average of $100-$200 on rodents. I was getting good deals and buying them in large numbers, but still is expensive.  Just remembering the rodent costs is what keep me small this time lol.
