I had to download it and get a closer look. Good god, man, the details. The glorious details. Jebuzz. How long did this take you!?? Did you have a method to those scales other than just... painting them with the brush tool, because if you do, I would almost be willing to pay money to know what it was.

Thanks a lot for your kind words. But it's not drawing, it is rendering. I use a 3D model in the 3D programs for processed, in this case "Source Filmmaker". Also improves the image in Photoshop.

The painting is magnificent, but their expressions look ... vacant. Dead. Wrought in plastic like someone pressing together the faces of two barbie dolls.
btw... amazing job on the scales. I have some rather blue characters I dreamed up who are SUPPOSED to have scales on parts of their bodies, but I just could not for the life of me make it look decent in Photoshop. I am going to study this.

Nice picture, although quite tame by your standards.
It must be strange though to touch that head when we are so used to hair.
And I've been wondering lately how Asari manage to keep their head clean, lol. I mean, that space between the tentacles and all those grooves on the back of the head must be a breeding ground for all kinds of organisms, and it can't be easy to to take care of.
