A possible scene of Jake's backgroundstory which will appear in my big Rango fanfiction story project.
In this case, Jake's family was killed brutally when he was a little child. He had to watch how his parents were beheaded. The enemy just cut of his rattle tail and hung him headfirst on a tree and let him alone. Maybe the sun had burned him, but before he lost consciousness he thought to see the shadow of "The Spirit of the West". Later, it will comes out that the Spirit really saved him from death.
Sorry for that horrible picture, but it is a fact that some people treat rattlesnakes like trash. They are nothing for them but just brainless animals without feelings.

I know nothing about Jake's real backgroundstory. It was just an idea.
