I wanted to take the time to comment on this, since I didn't the last time you gave me such a helpful critique
I used to use black outlines, but after seeing how a lot of other artists used color in theirs, I decided to try it as well. I think it keeps my rather thick lines from becoming too stationary. Thanks!
Well, I really like blushes, and it felt more "natural" that way, rather than leaving it empty. I'm a fan of the more subtle details, too.

Hah! That's interesting, I've tried drawing characters seperately before, and it's always gone horribly wrong

Well, after figuring out how I want them positioned, I'll usually draw the one character in completely. Then I'll get another sheet of paper and lightly trace the first character around areas the two will touch (the ONLY time I'll ever trace anything). After that, I work around those lines to draw in the 2nd character
